Calling all reproductive neuroendocrinologists! This year, the Society for the Study of Reproduction (SSR) will be holding its annual conference in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada from July 11-14, 2023. SSR’s history is steeped in neuroendocrinology and the Society remains committed to this vital constituency. As a sign of this commitment, they have expanded their programming at this year’s meeting. In addition to the Annual Mahesh Focus Session (symposium) in Neuroendocrinology, a new Focus Session has been added to showcase research by PANS members. The PANS lecturers this year will be Drs. Aleisha Moore (Kent State) and Martin Kelly (OHSU). The Mahesh lecturers will be Drs. Kim Jonas (King’s College London) and Waljit Dhillo (Imperial College London). Trainee presentations, selected from submitted abstracts, will be included in both focus sessions. Trainees that are all SSR members will also be eligible for travel awards. SSR is a trainee friendly meeting with many networking opportunities.
We encourage all PANS members, especially trainees, to consider submitting an abstract and attending the SSR meeting this year. Registration and abstract submission information can be found at: https://www.ssr.org/news-events/upcoming-events/annual-meeting2023.
