“Neuroendocrine Techniques on the Cutting Edge”
PANS Trainee Workshop – August 11-13, 2022
University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine (Garscube Campus)
Program Co-Chairs: Professors Victor Navarro and Bredford Kerr
We invite up to 50 trainees to participate in a workshop immediately following the ICN2022. The program for the workshop includes faculty/trainee presentations of new technologies being used in cutting-edge neuroendocrine research. Trainees will have opportunities for networking and professional development. The workshop will take place at the beautiful University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine Garscube Campus with reasonably priced accommodations on site. We expect to be able to provide some funding for each participant to engage in this unique opportunity, including a networking excursion to a Scottish castle. An application to participate is provided on the ICN2022 website. If there are more than 50 trainees that indicate interest, then the applications will be ranked by a panel.
“Deadline for the application is May 11, 2022. We anticipate a substantial waiver of costs for trainees – so please apply to join us! We will inform successful applicants by mid-May.”
Anticipated costs include accommodation (£45 per night for 3-4 nights) and workshop cost (~£100, includes lunches and networking excursion). We anticipate that a portion of these costs will be waived for attendees (pending sponsorship funding).
